Haha! CNY was fun! Though it's rather short this year, but definitely enjoyed. Ang baos decreased though. Haha. The New Year means a step closer to ORD! Wohoo! Had Bing Xin, Laikiu, Yaolun, Shan Shan, and Guang Liang over to my place for dinner today. It was total havoc. Laikiu, as usual, the joke of the day. Haha! This year, luck isnt by my side, been losing money when playing cards. Bleaah.

Wohoo! Great days! Celebrated Kenneth's 21st Birthday over the weekend and attended SPARKSwinds Concert.
Yup, witnessed my best friend's 1st step into adulthood over at the JTC Summit ORANGE Cafe. Buffet dinner, KTV, Pool, games and lotsa drinking. It was really fun meeting up with all the old classmates and band mates. All seemed like we were back to yesterday, though havent met for long, there always seemed to be a conversation. Old friends. Watching the video montage just reminded me of how time flies. Looking back, it's been 8 years of friendship and still going strong. Happy Birthday kenneth! =]
SPARKS VII, as usual, splendidly done. Impressive pieces, full of surprises. One of the surprises was PONYO as encore piece. The audience just went wild. LOL. Ms Chan, with her loads of supporters, and i was really glad to see that the spirit of PJCSB still goes strong. Haha, we were like the only bunch of people who waited for her to come off stage and went crazy taking pictures and cheering her. haha! Every batches of members just seem to share the same crazy genes.

I'm Back! I'm finally back! O man, never in my life have i puked so much. Like what my Commanding officer said, it was one of the worst sea state that he had encounter in his service, so for me and many of us, it was a total disaster. 40 degrees row from side to side, your stomach turns into a blender and you get bags of pukes. I was totally dead on the second day of the sailing there, good thing the thrid day was better.
Pattaya city, i dont think i'll ever wanna return to that place again. Haha. Having spent almost 7 Days there really is kinda boring. Interesting for the first few days, subsequently you just find yourself looking at the same old stuff, walking down the same old streets, eating the same old food. You just hoped you're home.
Temperature there was a stunning 18 degrees celcius. I thought i was in Taiwan for a moment. Haha. The night life there is really happening though, discos, pubs, and the all famous AGOGO Bars. You just see naked women doing pole dancing, yes, literally naked. They do it so publicly and they have them in almost every Bars down the street that you really cant avoid. Sin city, some people say. I cant get any photos cause we're not allowed to take pictures.
Seafood there was great, and cheap. So were the Shark's Fin and Bird's Nest. And some of us had our share of food poisoning. I unluckily caught it during the trip back to Singapore. Damn.
Super super tired today. Still went for NIE Band Prac anyway. Finally got to play my dream piece Fantasy Variations. Haha. Not easy. Okie, like always, i shall let the pictures do the talking.

Duty on New Year's Eve, what a great day to celebrate. Decided to really make full use of my New Year Day, especially since i'll be sailing off for 3 weeks tomorrow. I'm totally not looking forward to it. 2009 is my ORD year, tt's what keeps me going, i'm hanging by a thread.
Met up with Jaryl at 1230pm for Roller Blading at East Coast Park. It's my 1st time roller blading, was quite scared at 1st. Thanks to my ice skating experience, it wasn't that hard to start with though i have to say that ice skating is so much easier. Jaryl wasnt that good a blader too, so when we rented the blades, we actually asked for practically all the guards they have to protect our fragile epidermis. Lol. yea, let's see, i fell like 6 times? It was tiring to skates, your legs feels sore and i was sweating like mad. It was fun luh, after that we went to the arcade, Jaryl was crazy over the old school football game and he had this crazy idea of playing the DDR. It was super embarassing because our legs just weren't coordinating and some Ah Lians were watching us play. LOL.
Ponyo-ed at Plaza Sing in the evening after meeting up with Amelia to get the Loafers we ordered online. That cute little girl came with his boyfriend to meet us, so it was quite a disappointment. Yea yea, Ponyo was good, easy to understand storyline, not like Howl's Moving Castle which half way through i totally lost the sequence. I felt that Spirited Away was still better though. haha. And my night ended like that. 3 weeks of sailing tomorrow, someone please save me. Can i fast forward time? Was hoping to break some legs during roller blading, but sadly it didnt happen. LOL. Yawnz....
