Today is a great day? Haha. Went for a swim and I was late to meet Amy for lunch. And so we were almost late for band prac. We actually had to take a cab down. Played Fate Of The Gods today! Man...really bring back lots of memories. SYF 2003 flashes back into mind, and playing my 1st solo again really get memories flooding back. Though solo parts dun get me all shivering nowadays, but playing that particular solo still makes me feel nervous. Dunnoe why...LOL!
Went for LOVE AMPLIFIED in the evening with Jaryl. It's Singapore's 1st ever World AIDS Day Concert. Held at Fort Canning Park, we got the timing wrong and were there too early. Haha! Went to roam around the National Museum Of Singapore while waiting. I really have to say that the Museum is really a great place to take good pictures.
Of cause the rest of the evening was great. Jaryl went crazy over Stephanie Sun. Hossan Leong and the Dim Sum Dollies were really funny. Fort Canning was filled with the booms. Totally enjoyed. =D

YAY! I feel so accomplished today! Been saying that i wanna do a 30 laps swim, finally got the time to do it today. haha. Met up with jaryl at Toa Payoh Swimming Complex at ard 630pm. I was shivering when i got into the pool, so cold. Really cant believe that i actually completed 30laps without stopping. Haha. Now i noe, it's really all in the mind. I kept pushing myself for 5 more laps, with 5 more to go and somehow i hit 30 laps! haha. Though both of our timings still cant qualify us for the SAFRA Biathlon. Haha.
So tired after the swim, like really feel like sleeping, but was super hungry. Went to some food court and had bubble tea after that. Somehow our bad sense of direction kicked in again and we almost got lost in Toa Payoh Central, couldnt find our way back to the HDB Hub. Lol.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Cause it's FRIDAY! I hope my day will pass quickly, so that i can 'fast forward' the time to my NIE Band Practice in the evening. Haha. As for now..i'm so tired. =P

Aha! Went for Bak Kut teh over at Clarke Quay with jaryl today. Haha. Super nice. Even Jaryl couldnt resist the temptation though his teeth aches from the braces. Haha. I thought i wanna have a good meal since i'm on duty tomorrow, but somehow i feel really blessed, cause ship is going back to base tomorrow instead of the planned Friday. So i'm deactivated from duty tomorrow. Haha.
After Bak Kut Teh we just roamed ard in CENTRAL and had turkish ice cream. Night was still young, since i got no duty tomorrow. LOL. Walked over to Raffles City to just do some window shopping. Really broke now. I'm so gonna spend on the 10th of Dec when pay comes in. Bleah! O man, we refilled the Bak Kut teh soup so many times, and to make the most out of the $4 tea leaves, we just kept drinking. feel so bloated now. LOL!

Bruises! My knees are covered with bruises. Lol. Had a hard fall during ice-skating just now. haha. It was fun though. Been so long since i last skated. As always, i'm dazzled by those pro-skaters who can spin like nobody business.It's a weekday, so the ice skating ring wasnt really crowded, i didnt have much to worry when i fell. Haha. It was Alvin's and Jaryl's 1st time ice skating, they roller bladed before though, so it didnt take long for them to get the hang of it.
My knees just hurts when i walk. damn. I'm tired now. Good thing tomorrow morning gonna be off for me, reporting to Changi naval base only at 1230pm. =D

MY -ON JOB TRAINEE- DIDNT COME TODAY! Said that they have not recieved the posting orders. Damn. They will be here tomorrow though. =D And the good news is, my ship is getting TWO of them! weeeee.
It was half day today. Left camp at around 130pm, so monday blues wasnt that bad. Haha. Met up with Jaryl to shop for a decent blazor and pants at Far East Plaza for my upcoming performances. He went for his dental appointment which was in orchard too. It didnt took me very long to get my stuff, so after that we had enough time for dinner and movie. I asked Jaryl wad he want for dinner he said 'something cheap'. We ended up having 鼎泰丰. I dunnoe why, but that's always the case. LOL. It's my virgin trip to one of it's outlet. Always been hearing that they had nice 小笼包, but i find them rather normal. =P
Caught Beverly Hills Chihuahua after that. Light-hearted comedy. It's a meaningless show, but what to say, it hit US #1 Box Office for 2 weeks. Though meaningless, but the humour wasnt lacking in any sense. It promised to make people laugh, and that promise was kept. That's shows i like, hahaha. Think little, just laugh. Bleah. =]
Gonna go ice skating tomorrow with Jaryl and Alvin! I haven skate for damn long. Finally! =D

Aha, got to know Chanz PSLE result today. Not very impressive, but i am glad to hear that he's able to make it into the express stream. His primary school foundation was just really bad? Good thing his dad's gonna start off his sec1 work this mid december. This mean that i'm gonna get myself the text and go through it before lessons kick off.
O man, my coming months gonna be super super packed. With NIE Band practices and ZestWinds practices, also concerts on the 12th, 21th, and 27th Dec. 7th Dec will be the big Standard Chartered Marathon. Also sign up to be a volunteer for Chingay Parade 2009, trainings gonna start mid Dec if i'm selected. My month of December is gonna be crazy. Gonna be participating in a 'mini' Aquathlon with jaryl in feb nxt yr. haha. 200m swim and 5km run, we're not strong swimmers really don't dare to go for the full Aquathlon. To think that it's gonna be the sea that we'll be swimming in.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow? A new On Job Trainee is gonna be posted in, that means my work load's gonna be halved. =D Like finally! Haha.

I'm back..finally back! So miss the feeling of the hard stable soil. Lol. The pitching and rolling over at the South China Sea really wasnt comfortable. Though my sea sick band did the magic of keeping my puke inside me, the constant churning in my stomach was torturous. What was worst was the combat rations. Yea, having the thought that being in the navy would mean farewell to combat rations was wrong. The sea state was too bad for the chef to cook, warming up the combat rations was the most he could do. With an upset stomach, the rations nearly ruined the work of my sea sick band. haha. Good thing that time flies, i knew 5 days out in the vast ocean were coming to an end when the beautiful skyline of Marina Bay came into view as we sailed along the Singapore Straits back to where home is. The smell of home was strong and morale was high. I was just looking forward to band practice today, finally got a trombone player coming in. Though the strength of the band is still at it's minimal, i guess we just had to hang in there. Met up with Benji and gang after that. Been really long since i last met them. Finally A's are over and shopping with them for Prom clothings really makes me wanna turn back time to my Prom back 2 yrs ago? haha. They went to spend the night over at Aloy's. I'm really too tired out from the sailing, so i'm back home. Also, i wanted to catch my new Taiwan drama on DVD. haha. Miss No Good is a no brainer, laugh non-stop show by Wilber Pan and Rainie Yang. It's just so damn funnie, my mum kinda got hooked on it too. LOL.
I'm so tired. Don't feel like sleeping though. haha. Just chill.

Aha! Vertical Marathon today. Ya, stated no baggage deposit, but when we went there, there was. They are great liars huh hahah. It's a pleasent surprise though. Man, 73 Storeys wasnt that easy afterall. Haha. Jaryl was the hard core one again, sprinted his way up. I was 2mins behind him. Lol. I couldnt really bring myself to enjoy the rest of the day. Sailing tomorrow. Damn, for one whole week. I think i'm gonna puke myself dry. Bye people. Off to the South China Sea. =]

Good day! Band practices for 2 consecutive days. Went for NIE Band yesterday, haha. I was quite nervous at first, but the people there were quite friendly. A good quality horn really boost my confident level, haha. They had a really seasoned Holton Horn for me. haha. Really unbelievable, i actually got to play pieces that i had always dreamt of playing, like Disney Fantillusion, Star Wars, and Tsubasa O Kudasai! Haha! Cant wait for the concert. =D
ZEST!Winds today was great. Had a few new comers. Finally we got 2 trombonists, really hope they would stay on. haha! Mr Tan conduced us, choked again. LOL! After band met up with Jaryl to shop for berms at Bugis. Realised that Bugis Street isnt such a good place to shop, super crowded and things are much more expensive compare to last time. In the end i ended up getting my pair of berms from Bugis Junction which cost me like $28, the ones i tried over at Bugis Street costs at least $39.
Yes, we were at bugis, so decided to hit some buttons at the Arcade. haha. Like it's becoming a routine. We decided that the night was still young, wanted to go chill at some place with good makan. Since Jaryl's one week of leave will end tomorrow, and i'm gonna be booking in for my week of sailing, we just really wanted to spend the night good. Went to this dessert place at Bugis to have Mango Ice and Peanut Paste.
Vertical Marathon tomorrow. I really think they need to review the whole planning. To think that they dont provide any bag deposite facilities is a joke. And they even stated that any baggage left unattended at the event area will be removed by security. So what now? That's a JOKE. bah.

Man, i'm kinda pissed? My entire training regime got screwed up today? Planned for a 30 Laps swim and 2.4km run with Jaryl. Some delay onboard my ship and i was only allowed to go off at 630pm. Damn. By the time i got over to Tampines, it was like 850pm. Too late for anything. Bah.
To make it a worthwhile trip, Jaryl brought me to this market with lotsa nice food over at Bedok. Really cool, so instead of exercising, we actually had loads of unhealthy food. Haha. It's just really hard to resist, we just had to order them all at one go so that we couldnt change our mind. Had BBQ Stingray, Oyster Omelette, BBQ Chicken Wings, and the famous 'Bak Chor Mee'. The shops that we ordered from all have certificates all over their sign boards. It's like an overload of good food. The plus point, both of us spent only like 20bucks for all the food. I kinda feel bloated now? haha. Been really long since I feasted like this. Bleah.
Yea, all the food is really making me sleepy. I'm going into hibernation.

Night duty tomorrow, ultimate turn off. I always like to get crazy the day before duty, tt's to make up for all the fun that i'm gonna miss out while in camp. haha. Jaryl's on leave for the whole week. Good thing, that means i can drag him out anytime i want. haha! I just did today. Supposed to watch Dragon Hunters, but we couldnt make it in time for the show. Decided to go over to Marina Square for Bowling instead. Haha. Like it's been reaaaaly long since i bowled. I wasnt so worried cause Jaryl convinced me that he isn't good at it too. I just like going out with him, cause what i'm bad at, he's just as bad. Like bad at basketball, bad at Bishi Bashi, bad at pool, bad at bowling. hahah!
I'm gonna grow fat. I noe it's impossible, but yea, i just like to think that i'm gonna grow fat. I just keep eating non-stop. Had dinner at around 730pm before the bowling session, and i was hungry immediately after that. Found a Kaya Toast shop at Citylink Mall which offers kaya toast sets at a good deal price. The hot chocolate there is really nice too, reminded me of the thick and rich Cadbury Hot Chocolate that i used to drink before i go to bed back during my ekong Days. haha!
To end off, i just wanna share this. Shirin sent me this mail which i thought was really meaningful. Somehow it managed to put how i've been feeling into words. =] Here goes...

Aha! I wonder why, the day after my birthday seemed more fun then my birthday itself. LOL. yea, really, i decided to pull Jaryl along for Westwinds free concert at the Esplanade today. O man....they are good? Big Screen Hits was the title and i went crazy when they played Highlights from Jurassic Park. I just loved the Horn parts. aha! Encore was so predictable... Music from High School Musical. haha!
Jaryl found out about this Love Amplified Concert thing. Thought it will be a nice experience. Tickets at 20bucks and u get a free Levi's t-shirt. Quite a good deal, so yea, i'll be going with him. Bought the tix. After the concert we went to redeem our t-shirts at Levi's Store. It's a really cool tee. =D It was arcade at Suntec City after that. Haha, damn fun. We really sucked at the basketball thing. Lol. I wanted to play Pop n Music, but they doesnt have it there.
Dinner was at Popeye's over at the Singapore Flyer. We kinda got the direction wrong and took quite awhile to get there. haha. To think that i have bad sense of direction, Jaryl isnt any better. LOL. I was like really disappointed. I never managed to have my 'ideal' Popeye's meal at the Singapore Flyer. The other time i went, they ran out of biscuits, this time i went they ran out of Chicken Strips. Sadded.
After that we walked over to Bugis. Jaryl needed to get to a M1 Shop. He wanted to redeem some stuff with his 'points'. What happened next was a joke, i shouldn't elaborate. Lol. We realised Bugis Junction has an arcade too! And there, they have Pop n Music. So it was slapping buttons again at the arcade. haha. Max fun.
We just kept walking today. Lol. Jaryl suggested we take part in Amazing Race. Considering our 'good' sense of direction, i really think we will win. LOL!

Cool cool. Madegascar is cool or wad? Haha, really laughed my ass off that show. Funnie. Yeap yeap, i'm just back from the show, using my sis lappy now. No, no, com's not up yet. Bah.
O man, yesterday night had practice with the Singapore Winds Symphony. Man, they are good. I think it makes no difference to them if i play or not. I dun think the conductor could even hear me. haha! And for the 1st time in my life, i get to hear screaming trumpets right behind me. The high notes just give me the headache, but i was 'wow-ed'.
Nothing much today. Got back to camp, had trainings under the blazing sun. Sweat soaked. Yea, pretty much that.
I'm tired. Off to bed. =]

Haha! Bin Hao is the man! I'm leeching his internet access again! =P Okie, i'm gonna blog about yesterday, coz nothing much happened today.
Yesterday was 'Sports Day' for me. Kayaking in the morning with the ZEST!Winds peeps at Bedok Reservoir. Met at Tampines at 9am, i was late though. Tried so hard to avoid that place, tot it would be easy since i live in the west. I still ended up going there. Lotsa memories. I was flooded, and on top of that, we took bus 23 which is part of the memory that i'm trying hard to sink it deep inside me. yea, i'm not trying to foget, because it's really hard, and i wanna keep it, because it's beautiful. =] kayaking was like real fun, though not many of us went, but the sun was amazing and yeap, i totally enjoyed getting wet and all. haha!
After that i met up with jaryl for lunch at Tampines Mall and he suggested swimming after that. He got a new pair of trunks and when the rain finally stopped we decided to go for a dip in the chlorine. Yup, it rained just after we finished kayaking. Walked over to Safra Tampines and there i swam like 15 laps. I had everything provided for by him, the trunks, the towel and the goggles, proudly sponsored by Jaryl Teo. Haha. He was the hardcore one, i most probably would have stopped at 8 laps if i'm alone. haha. Now, tt's why i say it's a sports day for me. As if my arms weren't sore enough after 2 hours of paddling. It was a slow leisure swim, so i was still alright with that. I guess my body is kinda getting use to all these.
When i was wondering where should i go for dinner, Laikiu called me. He was in town. so i just went down to meet him since it was along the way. I had SHOKUDO, again! haha. Tried a different pasta this time and i wasn't disappointed. Got to taste my heavenly mango desert again. Bleah! =D I really pamper myself. haha!
Alright, back to the present. I'm sailing tomorrow, good thing it's gonna be just a day sailing. Time will past by real fast and i'm just gonna chill in the evening. Probably catch a movie or something. And now i shouldn't be hogging the com for too long. So much for today. Cheerios! =]

Aha! Leeching Clement's internet access at his hostel. lol. I'm kinda dying, duty yesterday, heavy rain. I was so drenched that today when i woke up, i had a splitting headache, and the late night Kinder Buenos for the past few days are giving me the sore throat. It's uncomfortable, but it's saturday, so i am still gonna enjoy myself.
Went for ZEST!Winds practice today, Mr Hoe flew off again so it was Mr Tan taking over. A decent number of people trned up today i would say. Managed to play a few pieces without sounding empty. =] As usual, Mr Tan never fails to make me laugh. Lol.
I'm feeling rich now? Haha, Chanz's dad called me up yesterday night and reminded me that i have not collected my pay for the last 6 lessons. So yup, i totally forgot and it came as a pleasent surprise. Met up with Clement for town in the evening, and headed down to the Marina Barrage to take a look. Nothing much....just beautiful scenary from the rooftop. The shops there are still undergoing renovation, but the place is quite an architectural marvel.
Can't wait for Kayaking session tomorrow! Finally! =D
